In 2015, 193 world leaders agreed to a series of 17 ambitious goals to end poverty, fight inequality, and stop climate change by 2030. The Global Goals are within our reach, but we must remain committed—embracing what works and addressing what doesn’t, while holding ourselves and others accountable. Please join us as we strive to create a better world.
GLOBAL GOALS 1–6
Goalkeepers focuses on achieving the first 6 Global Goals for Sustainable Development. While each goal is vital, the first 6 goals address physiological needs that must be met before we focus on the remaining 11 goals.
We must afford all people a chance to prosper by reducing poverty overall by at least 50% and eradicating extreme poverty completely.
We must feed the world's population by improving food security, nutrition, and sustainable agriculture.
GOOD HEALTHAND WELL-BEING
We must promote healthier living by providing modern, efficient, preventative medical care to all people, everywhere.
We must ensure that equitable educational opportunities are available to all, unlocking the intellect and imagination necessary for a healthy society to thrive.
We must guarantee equal rights and respect for all by defending political, economic, and social equality for women.
CLEAN WATER AND SANITATION
We must reduce the suffering and death spread by waterborne diseases by increasing access to clean water and improving sanitation.
